South African Government as a part of its National development plan has created a special category visa “Critical skills work Visa” which enables the highly skilled manpower to migrate and settle in South Africa.
To be eligible for this visa, an individual needs to qualify certain factors:
Submit an intent letter
Proof that your skills falls within critical skills list
Critical skills relevant education ( qualification to be assessed by designated body)
Show proof that you have sufficient funds to cover your stay during the time you are in South Africa
Meet health & character requirements
What this Visa lets you do:
The visa holder will be issued Visa initially for 5 years
Visa holder along with his dependent s can live, work and travel anywhere in South Africa
Allows you apply for permanent residence subject to you having stayed lawfully and met the PR requirements
Visa application fee : INR 7892/-
Visa logistics fee : INR 2301/-
Qualification Assessment : INR 5000/- per qualification
Visa processing time: 60-90 Days*
Qualification & skills assessment fee would depend on the assessment body applicable for your skill set.
Translation and notarization of documents fee would be additional
Above mentioned fees are as per current exchange rate and also visa fees may change as per the prevailing immigration rules
